It has been some time since an work was done here, so
this is a sincere effort to repent.

For those of you that write every day, it is my promise to attempt to emulate your work ethics.

Legally Blond and Just another Page, seem to add
to their working diary with interesting ideas and
comments. My life lately has not been one devoid
of fun, it's just that there are other things that I have
been doing as a priority... such as sitting watching
dust collect on the lampshade.

I do have a Wall, and that is because the postings show on the internet e-mail. My wall is called, Grandad Nebeker. Being on a Blogg is like being in a crowd in
a newspaper office, with a microphone. Everyone can
see what is there, and can comment.. Or it is like being in a fish bowl... one must be circumspect with what is written.

What was amazingly astonishing was that I am now in communication with family members from all over the country, that I've not heard or seen for many years.
It is like a reunion, without the transportation or lodging expenses. For example, my aunt whom is 90 this year, and my grandson in his high school years;
each may comment on something that is written, within
a 5 minute time span. And then their are lost cousins,
family members whom have not been close- but now are.... isn't it wonderful ?

To go on, it seems like a few days ago, that I was helping my wife walk the floors with our children...
now our children are becomming grandparents... and
their children are having children.... and, when someone moved away, it would be easy to lose track
of them.. then came the rotary dial telephone- and the
operator was replaced by machines- and then we got
routings quicker and to distant places... now, just think,
it was Edison in the 1860's that gave us light, and electricity, and the radio was just a crystal in a box.

Then, my gg grandfather rode a horse from one area to another taking mail. He was a pony-express rider, and now, we have cell phones using platforms high in our atmosphere to beam our calls to others across the world.

We take for granted that all this is our due.

Heavens, it was not until after the civil war, that the
gasoline engine powered automobiles were developed.
and now look..... We don't have to go anywhere, we can just sit at our PC's and visit, and chat, and write on our blog's. We can know anything as if it were in the next
room.

Well, write to you tomorrow.... grandad
